Week 11 and 12

Had a look at Google docs and sent an invitation out using the software. It was fun and easy to use. Also had a look at Twitter and discussed how it could be used at libraries. This whole Library 2.0 training has been very interesting and you can see the potential to help patrons. It has been great!!

Week 8 and 9

We had a look at answer boards today. Would probably be better used for general questions. Anyone can get online and give false answers.

Looked at podcasts and realised I was already using them. Everytime I missed a show I got onto a website to see the show using Vodcasts!!

Week 10 mashups

This is the tiger jigsaw I created doing mashups. I also went on bighugelabs and flickr. Hoping to create some xmas cards with mashups!!

Wiki week 5

Found it very interesting. I think Wiki would work well in the library by patron's using it to discuss books and other items. They could tell other partons whether a book was any good or have a discussion about characters. It could be useful to students to make notes about literature and subjects they are studying.

Posted my answer on Wiki on why I like public libraries. Easy to use.

Week 7 Librarything

Learnt about Delicious.com and Librarything today. Delicious was very basic and easy to use. I preferred Librarything as it was very informative.

week 6 video imbedding

I found this video on weimaraner puppies as I just bought one myself. Adding the video to my blog was very easy. I think this is great fun.
